So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Preparing for this chapter
In this chapter, we'll be using a number of Google Cloud tools to automate service deployments. In order to follow along, you'll need a free GitHub account. If you haven't already created a GitHub account, navigate to https://github.com/join and create a new personal account. Next, fork this book's source repository on GitHub by navigating to https://github.com/TrainingByPackt/BuildingGoogleCloudPlatformSolutions and clicking Fork.
Additionally, this chapter assumes that a default HTTP firewall already exists within your project. This firewall rule will already be configured if you previously created a Compute Engine instance in the Cloud Console with the Allow HTTP Traffic option, or followed along in Chapter 7 ...
