I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Database flags and SLAs
Be aware that some flags require a database restart to take effect, and some flags may cause the database to perform in unexpected ways. For this reason, the Google Cloud SQL SLAs exclude instances with certain database flag settings. This includes setting general_log or slow_query_log to TABLE, or setting any of max_heap_table_size, temp_table_size, query_cache_size, and query_cache_type above their default values.
