It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Components of a firewall rule
Each firewall rule is composed of six parts, which together define conditions under which a given network request is permitted or denied. These components are action, direction, target, source/destination, protocol and ports, and priority. By combining these components, firewall rules allow developers to control network traffic with a high level of granularity.
