Performing a rolling update

Let's perform a rolling update on the hello-migs instance group. From within the rolling update screen we last navigated to, click on the Add a second template for canary testing button. Select the hello-migs-template-v2 option for the template and set Target size to one instance. Click on the Update button to apply changes:

Once completed, you'll see that a new instance has been created with the updated instance template, and one of the previous instances has been removed. Navigating to the public IP of this new instance will show that the version 2  ...
