Businesses spent a huge amount of resources for massive change management
programs with the objective to prevent potential problems of the transformation
process. In a lot of situations, they have no idea how a transformed organization is
supposed look. Even if they have a (blurry) vision of their future, they have no con-
cept how to approach change management.
In reality, change management and transformation management should be
represented by the same concept, be symbiotic, and have the ability to answer
one question: Are we creating an organization with the capability to renew itself
(to have some kind of self-healing and sustainable capabilities) when the next crisis
presents itself.
