most important point is that we should measure our processes effectively and man-
age by these facts (Figures 1.3 and 1.4).
In the old, traditional paradigm, there is a fundamental organizational struc-
ture, and then there is a way in which this monolithic structure interacts through
organizational processes and procedures. In the new paradigm, the process is
primary, and any organization is a display and a manifestation of the under-
lying process.
