To be wise is but to know how little can be known. The true searcher after truth and knowledge is always like a child; although gaining strength from year to year, they still learn to labor and to wait. The field of labor is ever expanding before them, reminding them that they have yet more to learn; teaching them that they are nothing more than a child in knowledge, and inviting them onward with a thousand varied charms.

The lifelong practice of gathering knowledge begins with the desire to learn but blossoms with the admission that you know so little. This isn't a flaw in your education; it's an acknowledgment that you can never run out of things to absorb.
