Thus it is that ideas, which grow up within the imagination and appear so lovely to it and of a value beyond whatever people call valuable, are exposed to be shattered and annihilated by contact with the practical. Today's reading seems like a downer now, doesn't it?

In a world that seems to want to keep anyone with a new idea for their life down, the secret to success may reside in what you choose to consume.

Now, I suppose this does include the food you eat, but it also applies to everything that comes your way.

We're constantly bombarded, whether or not we know it, by a steady stream of negative or even other people's view of what we could view as practical.

Today, and maybe every day, turn off the negative news, read books that inspire and encourage you, limit exposure to toxic people, listen to beautiful music, meditate with positive intentions, give someone a hug, get out in the woods.

You've only got so much positive stamina each day, so add some recharge routines to help your body keep going when your head starts to tell it otherwise.
