Why should we be more shy of repeating ourselves than the spring be tired of blossoms or the night of stars? Look at Nature. She never wearies of saying over her floral pater-noster. In the crevices of Cyclopean walls,—in the dust where men lie, dust also,—on the mounds that bury huge cities, the wreck of Nineveh and the Babel-heap,—still that same sweet prayer and benediction. Have you ever stumbled upon a single flower somehow blooming spectacularly in the slightest crack in the sidewalk? No doubt that flower would have had it much easier were it placed in fertile soil, but still it blooms where it was seeded.

And to those who pass, it is surely a welcome gift.

Flowers don't decide to bloom; they bloom because it is their nature to do so.

The Amen! of Nature is always a flower.

No matter where you find yourself today or how far along the path you consider yourself right now, you can always be a gift to someone else. There's no faster way to advance your cause than to change how you view what you're here to do in this stage of your journey.

You may not like where you are right now. It may not seem like progress to you. But consider these words from poet Maya Angelou:

If you don't like something, change it. If you can't change it, change your attitude about it.

In your grace lies your resilience.
