February 3The Life in Yourself

When good is near you, when you have life in yourself, it is not by any known or accustomed way; you shall not discern the footprints of any other; you shall not see the face of man; you shall not hear any name; the way, the thought, the good, shall be wholly strange and new.

Ralph Waldo Emerson—“Spiritual Laws,” Essays—First Series (1841)

Intuition is a concept that some embrace more fully than others, but as an entrepreneur, you will find that this is a trait that will serve you well.

Some people seem to be born with it; some learn through life's greatest teacher—failure. There's no telling how you got it.

Don't complicate it.

You know what is you, so you will also know what is right and true for you. Some might call that intuition; some might define it more simply as “You'll know it when you see it.”

The key is that you must have faith in the way.

Today, go out of your way to put yourself in situations and surroundings that are new and strange and trust the life in yourself to provide light.
