May 22On Purpose
Many people can choose the right and best on a great occasion, but not many can, with such ready and serene decision, lay aside even life, when that is right and best.
Margaret Fuller—Summer on the Lakes (1844)
If you've given your life over to your business, then it must be serving an incredibly fulfilling and useful purpose. Right?
Or is it possible that it's just a job that has found a way to consume you? This is okay if you've chosen it and right now it's where you want to be. But a far more insidious conclusion is that you got here or you're headed here without knowing how.
Or worse, why, and that's the point: without a deep connection to the purpose your business brings to your life, you'll continue to take on every noisy task that clamors for your attention—and that scales to infinity.
Today, recommit to the higher purpose your entrepreneurial journey provides.
