main as partial doses to be used later. For example, if a character has
a slight wound and drinks a health potion that can restore 100 Hit
Points, the wound is healed with 37 points being removed from the
bottle and the remaining potion is still available to restore another
63points later. ere is a danger, however, in using this approach if
the character’s inventory becomes littered with half-drunk potions,
so a good solution is to combine partial doses whenever possible
into full doses.
