initiated the quest. It can be annoying to have to chat with all the
NPCs in a town to nd the one that initiated a minor sub-quest. A
journal in which minor quests are recorded, as well as who initiated
them and where, is incredibly helpful.
Finally, the development team needs to keep in mind that a tri-
ple-A product is likely to be released internationally, and therefore
any puzzle-in-a-game needs to be able to work in multiple languages
and cultures. Hence, including a word or memory puzzle game can
