CHRIS TAYLOR
Chris Taylor (Figure 13.1) is one of the leading designers in computer
games. He was born in Canada and started working at Distinctive
Soware in British Columbia in the late 1980s. While there, he de-
signed his rst game HardBall II in 1989, which won an award from
the Soware Publishers Association for the best sports game of the
year. He went on to design e Duel: Test Drive II in 1989 and 4-D
Boxing in 1991 for Distinctive Soware. Aer that company was ac-
quired by Electronic Arts in 1991 and renamed EA Canada, Chris
designed Triple Play 96 in 1995.
