was going to be better. It was just moxie. I’ll go and start working on
it, and I’m going to make it better from sheer willpower.
So, the vision was we know we can make it better, and in truth
we never did. C&C maintained its position and continued to sell 5
and 6 million units, and we sold 700–800K units. is was good, be-
cause we did it so inexpensively, but we didn’t have any of the money
those guys had for a big PR campaign, and we didn’t have an estab-
lished franchise. We were battling the economics of game develop-
ment even back then.
It’s a real testimony to what you can do when you think about
game
