It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

當你在設計一個主頁、起始畫面，或其他任何當成「目錄」的畫面時 — 要向使用
者表達他們能從該頁面前往的地方。或許因為沒有放置特寫內容（如一篇文章、影
片或促銷資訊）的空間，也可能只是想讓使用者心無旁騖地選擇一個連結。
行動裝置所用的程式和網站特別需要選單頁面，才能好好地利用它們小小的螢幕。
如果你的（全尺寸）網站需要吸引訪客停留在頁面上，或許能使用一些頁面空間做
個促銷物件、或放置其他有趣的內容會比較好；此時，選單頁面就不是正確的設計
選擇。相似地，如果網站需要解釋網站設立的價值與目的，就應該用頁面空間好好
地說明，而不是塞進一堆連結。
