Susan Campbell, a Washington DC consultant, developed her model of change in her book, From Chaos to Confidence.32 In it, she posited eight stages:

5. Envisioning. “I now know what I want.”
6. Exploring Options. “We could do it this way or that way.”
7. Committing to Action. “Okay, I’m going to do this.”
8. Integrating the Change. “I AM doing it.”
