HYDROGEN CHLORIDE

Hydrogen chloride (HCl) is a polar, electron-attaching molecule with 18 electrons. It has electronic polarizability of 2.93 × 10−40 F m2, dipole moment of 1.109 D, and ionization potential of 12.749 eV. The energy for the fundamental vibrational mode is 370.8 meV.
