It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Carbon oxysulfide (COS) (synonym carbonyl sulfide) is an inorganic polar molecule that has 30 electrons. The electronic polarizability is 6.35 × 10−40 F m2, the dipole moment is 0.715 D, and the ionization potential is 11.18 eV.
