CONTENTS
Carbon disulfide (CS2) is an electron-attaching molecule that has 38 electrons. The electronic polarizability is 9.7 × 10−40 F m2 and the ionization potential is 10.068 eV. The molecule has three modes of vibrational excitation (Shimanouchi, 1972) as shown in Table 28.1.
