It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Ethanal (C2H4O), synonym acetaldehyde, is a polar molecule that has 24 electrons. Its dipole moment is 2.75 D and ionization potential 10.229 eV. The molecule has 15 modes of vibrational excitation as shown in Table 87.1 (Shimanouchi, 1972).
