Trichloroethane (C₂H₃Cl₃) is an electron-attaching polar molecule with three chlorine atoms substituted in place of hydrogen atom in ethane (C₂H₆) molecule. Two isomers are known, 1,1,1-trichloroethane and 1,1,2-trichloroethane. Table 108.1 shows the selected properties of the molecule.
