Trichloroethane (C2H3Cl3) is an electron-attaching polar molecule with three chlorine atoms substituted in place of hydrogen atom in ethane (C2H6) molecule. Two isomers are known, 1,1,1-trichloroethane and 1,1,2-trichloroethane. Table 108.1 shows the selected properties of the molecule.
