Higher conversion
In general mobile apps do not focus very much on the onboarding flow. At least, that is the impression you could get if you review many of the apps in the App Store. You can make a difference for your app. If your onboarding story is more appealing and if the barrier for signing up is lower, your conversion from acquisition to activation will be better. If, in addition, you show your user how the app works and he becomes confident in the way things work, then you will increase your users retention rate.
