It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Cost structure
What are the costs that are involved with our app? Hosting (Back4App) and marketing are the only expenditures if we do not take the time that we have spend working on Flyng into account.
The more interaction there is on the platform, the more calls per second will be made against the backend. The party that is hosting the Parse Server, which is Back4App in our case, offers a number of plans. Each plan comes with a maximum number of monthly requests and a maximum number of requests per second. So, the more users the app has and, more importantly, the more concurrent users the app has, the more we need to pay for hosting:
