Why does it matter?
A great introduction story should point out what the core values of your app are and what is in it for the user. Onboarding matters because it has everything to do with successful conversion. With every step you will lose customers, which is something that cannot completely be avoided, but the number of losses can be limited if you have a great onboarding flow for your app. As an example, let's consider a scenario in which each day a 100 users download your app, of which 60 sign-up and the other 40 decide to do this later or maybe never.
