Pros and cons of going native

Purists maintain the "all native all the time" philosophy, though this attitude has softened in recent years. All businesses have limited resources, however, so it's impossible to ignore some of the downsides to going native:

• Native apps are more costly to build and maintain
• They take longer to create, which can be a problem if you need to launch soon
• Their development requires more expertise, which, again, can be more costly and time-consuming
• If you or your team doesn't have the requisite experience, you will have to get it
