I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
ACTION EXERCISES
1. Review the organizational climate in your organization: Is the value of respect for the individual consistently reinforced? Communicate directly with your staff members or ask your managers to communicate to their subordinates the organization’s no-tolerance policy on disrespecting any employee in any way.
2. Talk to your employees about whether they find their jobs challenging and interesting. Ask them for ideas on how they can make their jobs less routine and more exciting.
