Not Sequential
It’s useful (though simplistic) to say that industrial
making processes tend to be linear, or
sequential, while artful
making processes tend to be helical, or
iterative. Figure 3–1
compares a classic, sequential industrial making process for
making cars with an artful making iteration for making
software.
