5.2.2.1 段階的な開示や省略
ロングループのまた別の使い道として、長い期間を通じて段階的に機能やデー
タを開示していくというものがあります。ユーザーが製品に慣れてくると、あま
り世話を焼く必要はなく熟練ユーザーとして扱えます。たとえば何度か利用経
験のあるユーザーに対しては、マイクロインタラクションに手早く操作できる
ショートカットやより高度な機能を加えることが考えられます。
また、提示する内容を段階的に減らしていくこともできます

ユーザーが熟達すればラベルや説明などは不要になるので、マイクロインタラク
ションを徐々に簡素化していくのです（図5-10）。ただし注意が必要です。ユー
ザーがその製品からしばらく離れていたら、マイクロインタラクションを元の確
実でわかりやすいものに戻さなければならないでしょう。ユーザーにとっての利
点は、インタフェースをすっきりしたものに変えられることです。ユーザーがそ
の製品を知っている度合いに基づき、それに応じたインタフェースを提供できる
のです。
