When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Need for unique IP addresses
Each IPv4 address has to be unique in its own network, and if it is a public IP address, it has to be unique in the World to prevent issues. To ensure that public IP addresses are unique, the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) issues blocks of IP addresses to regional registrars for further dissemination. Each of these registrars is responsible for issuing blocks of IP addresses to ISPs, who may in turn issue IP addresses to lower-level ISPs who then issue them to the public or organizations. Some of these registrars are as follows:
- African Network Information Center (AFRINIC): Africa
- American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN): Antarctica, Canada, parts of the Caribbean, and the United States
