nslookup is a command-line tool that allows you to perform manual DNS queries. It is a handy tool that can be used for troubleshooting. The tool can be used in two modes:
Non-interactive mode means you perform the query by typing in the command, whereas interactive mode allows you to configure more in-depth parameters in your query. The easiest way to understand how nslookup works is by using it, so we will carry out two activities: one in non-interactive mode and the other in interactive mode.
