It should be noted that this is not a complete representation. The huge volume of hosts, domains, TLDs, and so on means that a full image would not fit in this book.
For DNS to work, the servers need to be aware of the IP address that is linked to the FQDN. Let's discuss which DNS records allow us to do this.
