I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
In this chapter, we wrapped up the main part of this book by discussing some of the common network services available. We covered the DHCP process and how it was configured, before moving on to covering various types of firewalls available. From there, we highlighted the purpose of proxy servers in terms of acting as an intermediary device to cache data and add a level of security. Next, we talked about remote desktop connections and FTP. We rounded off this chapter by talking about file servers, print servers, and domain controllers.
