Consider using audio module files for background music

Audio module files, also known as tracker modules, are an excellent means of saving a significant amount of space without any noticeable quality loss. Supported file extensions in Unity are .it, .s3m, .xm, and .mod. Unlike the common audio formats, which are read like streams of bits that must be decoded at runtime to generate a specific sound, tracker modules contain lots of small, high-quality samples and organize the entire track similar to a music sheet, defining when, where, how loud, with what pitch, and with what special effects each sample should be played with.
