It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

■ TLS-RPT を利用する
MTA-STS や DANE を有効にするだけでは、相手が接続に失敗したことが
わかりません。つまり、暗号化されたチャネルの確立に失敗したことを検出す
るために、報告する手段が必要です。
そこで、メール送信時の TLS の問題を報告したり、設定ミスを検出したり
するための規格としてTLS-RPT（SMTP TLS Reporting）が あ り ま す。
TLS-RPT は、MTA-STS や DANE が成功した、失敗した、という情報をレ
ポート形式で送ってもらうしくみです。MTA-STS では、mode が none 以外
であればレポートが作成されます。
レポートをメールで送信するには、その宛先を DNS サーバーに設定します。
たとえば、問題が発生したときに「report@example.com」宛に送信したい
場合は、次のように設定します。
レポートをメールで送信するのではなく、Web から送信するには、その
URL を DNS サーバーに設定します。
_smtp._tls.example.com. IN TXT "v=TLSRPTv1; rua=mailto:report@
example.com"
_smtp._tls.example.com. IN TXT "v=TLSRPTv1; rua=https://
example.com/report"
