Purpose/Objectives: During planning, alternatives are very important. Once
managers list alternative approaches for a plan, they
must know how to select the one approach that will

shows participants how to use a simple process to select
the best alternative. Working individually, they analyze
three alternatives for reaching a sample objective. Then
they compare their findings and discuss the selection
process.
