I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

After Cindy has been in her position of clerical supervisor for three months, she approaches
Frank, her manager, with a problem. Pat, one of the secretaries reporting to her, had not
followed Cindy’s new format for a standard report, and when Cindy refused to accept it,
Pat blew up. Pat insisted that there was nothing wrong with the format she used and
accused Cindy of pulling rank and making unnecessary changes just to justify her position.
Cindy told Frank she has been getting resistance from Pat all along, and nothing she has
tried so far has worked. Cindy then commented, “I don’t know. Sometimes I wonder if you
made the right decision by putting me in this job.”
