Manager's Guide to a Post-Training Discussion
A quick follow-up discussion as soon as possible after your direct report returns from training will help you underscore its importance and ensure that you get your money's worth for the time and resources invested.

- Schedule a post-training follow-up discussion (in person or by phone) as soon as practical after the training program.
- Having the conversation is more important than its length; even five to ten minutes will underscore your interest and improve learning transfer.
