H2 D2.4Training is a process that creates value for the organization and individual only when it is transferred and applied on the job. And yet, most training programs continue to reinforce the “event paradigm”—the mistaken notion that simply participating in the training is sufficient. To receive greater value from training, we need to “move the finish line” by redefining successful completion from attending class to on-the-job application.
