It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Introduction
Performance support (job aids, checklists, help desks, and so forth) increase the return on investment from training by facilitating the effective transfer and application of learning to the work of the individual and firm. Performance support can also improve quality, reduce cost, and help avoid serious adverse consequences.
