Creating a gimbal
The camera movement needs to have some restrictions. For one, it should always remain level, and not be tilted side to side. Try this: take a camera and rotate it a small amount around x (red ring), then a small amount around z (blue ring). Now, reverse the x rotation and click the Preview button. Do you see how the camera is now tilted?
The solution to this problem is to place the camera on a gimbal—a device designed to keep an object level during movement. You can create a gimbal using two Spatial nodes, which will control the camera's left/right and up/down movement respectively.
