Add a DirectionalLight to the scene. This type of light simulates an infinite number of parallel rays of light, so it's often used to represent sunlight or another very distant source of light that illuminates an entire area equally. The location of the node in the scene doesn't matter, only its direction, so you can position it anywhere you like. Aim it using the gizmo so that it strikes the course at an angle, then turn Shadow/Enabled to On so that you'll see shadows being cast from the walls and other objects:
