Call Script: Find the Decision Maker

If you don’t know the name of the decision maker, you’ll first speak with a gatekeeper, usually an administrative assistant or receptionist: someone whose job it is to field calls from vendors and sales professionals and make them go away. Make this call when you are ready to start the sales process with this client and you’re preparing the approach letter. Remember that you want your voice to come across as excited, upbeat, and happy without sounding goofy.
