Many years ago I worked for a CIO, Jim, who was well-known in the company for frequently reorganizing his department. A joke made the rounds that if you didn’t like Jim’s current organization, you should just wait a day. He didn’t reorganize us daily, but it did feel that way at times. Jim’s reorganizations are just one example of how the company today is not the same as the company last week. Companies evolve.
