What if a Pilot Isn’t a Success?
What if, after all your decision making, planning, and hard work, the pilot project fails anyway? First, you would be wise to avoid pinning all your hopes on one big pilot project. Instead, run multiple pilots and keep in mind that the purpose of a pilot project is to illuminate the way for the Scrum projects that follow. The most successful pilot projects will be able to create advice of two forms: do this and don’t do that.
