I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Do Acceptance Test–Driven Development
Scrum teams have learned to smooth the flow of work through a sprint by doing acceptance test–driven development (ATDD). In ATDD, work occurs in response to acceptance tests. Acceptance tests serve as a record of the decisions made about the implementation of a feature. As such they are written throughout the sprint as those conversations occur.
ATDD can be thought of as analogous to the test-driven development (TDD) of Chapter 9. Lasse Koskela, author of Test Driven: Practical TDD and Acceptance TDD for Java Developers, shows the relationship between ATDD and TDD, as shown in Figure 16.3. I’ve amended Koskela’s original diagram to show only the role of the conditions of satisfaction in this cycle.
