There may be cases where adjusting the position of specific vertices may be necessary. One case is the situation where the vertices are not lined up on a flat plane. For example, perhaps you picked a corner of a shutter that was raised up and not flush with the base of the house. You could correct that situation quickly by using the Scale 0 process we used in Chapter 4, Flattening a Torus and Boolean Union. For a template based on the front of my house, I would want to make sure all the vertices are perfectly aligned and flat along the Y axis. The steps to make corrections are as follows:
