Creating new faces

Our cylinder is now just a shell, not a complete 3D object. To turn it back into a workable 3D mesh, we'll need to create three new faces: two half-circle shaped faces to make up the bottom and top, and then a rectangle-shaped face to close up the object and make it whole:

Making the new faces will give you more practice of using the Shift and Ctrl keys to select vertices. The steps are as follows:
