When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Highlighting non-manifold edges
Blender has a built-in function to help you identify and select non-manifold edges. The steps are:
- In Edit Mode, make sure you are either in Vertex Select mode or Edge Select mode
- If you have anything already selected, hit the A key to deselect everything and start with a clean slate
- Under the Select menu at the bottom of the screen, pick Select All by Trait and then select Non Manifold:
Blender can select all non-manifold edges for you
Blender will select and highlight all non-manifold edges for you. At the very top of the screen, Blender lists statistics. It'll show you how many edges are selected, as well ...
