Scaling, rotating and converting to 3D mesh

Once located, I recommend rotating the curve so it can be better compared to the house's walls. In my case, I decide to rotate it 90 degrees along the X (red) axis so it matches up to the front of the house. The steps are:

1. If necessary, in Object Mode, right-click the curve to select it.

2. In the Properties Shelf on the right-hand side of the screen, type in a Rotation value for X. I type in 90. Alternatively, you can type R on the keyboard for rotate, X to tell Blender to rotate over the X axis, and then type 90:
